The station is situated on the Caldervale Line between Bradford Interchange and Halifax Rail Stations. Ideally situated to serve the communities on the outskirts of Bradford.
The station will also serve the surrounding residential and industrial areas and be located within convenient access of the M62 / M606 junction, to attract park and ride users.
Our works included:
- Earthwork stabilisation
- In-situ concrete foundations for the footbridge and passenger lifts
- Platform surfacing
- Construction of approximately 128-space car park with dedicated disabled persons parking bays, drop-off point and cycle parking
- Kerbing, paving, drainage and ducting
- Pedestrian ramp access and steps.
The project demanded a collaborative approach to ensure its safe and timely delivery. Working with a variety of other teams on this multidisciplinary scheme adjacent to the operational railway.
